Held on Saturday, October 15, 2011, the 18th Annual Taste of Georgetown showcased the spectacular cuisine of thirty of Washington, D.C.’s finest restaurants, highlighting Georgetown’s culinary personalities and feature nearly sixty delectable dishes to sample, as well as wine pairings and the jazz talents of Blues Alley. This year's jazz line-up included the Michael Bowie Trio, Blues Alley Youth Orchestra, Jacques Johnson and Friends, and Sandra Y. Johnson Quintet.

The Taste of Georgetown has become the premier food and wine festival of D.C. and benefits Georgetown Ministry Center's (GMC) services supporting the homeless. Click here to view photos and check out the video to the right for 2010 event highlights!

The 2010 Taste of Georgetown raised over $38,000 for the Georgetown Ministry Center (GMC). This was the largest donation ever rasied for GMC by the Taste event, and was used to directly assist GMC in its mission to find lasting solutions for the homeless community. Thank you to all who joined us for the 2011 Taste of Georgetown to help raise additional funds for GMC.

Thank you to our dedicated community partners, participating Georgetown restaurants, and attendees who make the Taste of Georgetown one of the most exciting and worthy events year after year.
